AWS-SCWI (American Welding Society – Senior Certified Welding Inspector)
Suitable course for those who has been a Certified Welding Inspector for a minimum 6 years and whose career has evolved into supervisory or managerial responsibilities in the field of quality control/assurance. Senior Certified Welding Inspector is the highest level of certification and is highly demanded by companies that are in search for all-skilled welding managers who can do the job and supervise others.

Successful applicants will have wider opportunity to solve problems with a scope and level of difficulty beyond those experienced as CWI.

ASNT UT (Ultrasonic Testing) Level II Training Program

Full Time: 02 Jul 2012 to 13 Jul 2012

 Ultrasonics NDT method use transmission of high-frequency sound waves into a material to detect imperfections or to locate changes in material properties. The most commonly used ultrasonic testing technique is pulse echo, wherein sound is introduced into a test object and reflections (echoes) are returned to a receiver from internal imperfections or from the part's geometrical surfaces.

AWS-CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) Training Program

Part Time: 09 Jul 2012 to 03 Aug 2012

Full Time: 23 Jul 2012 to 31 Jul 2012

The course will serve as a sound refresher in welding inspection, particularly for practicing welding inspectors and anyone want to be an AWS-certified welding inspector. The main emphasis is on what a professional welding inspector should know in actual practice. Course participants will undergo a rigorous course to get them well versed with the codes/standards in use, the fundamentals of welding inspectors, and actual hands-on examinations of weld replicas with various inspection tools.

ASNT RT (Radiographic Testing) Level II Training Program

Full Time: 16 Jul 2012 to 27 Jul 2012

 Radiography NDT method involves the use of penetrating gamma or X-radiation to examine parts and products for imperfections. An X-ray generator or radioactive isotope is used as a source of radiation. Radiation is directed through a part and onto film or other imaging media. The resulting shadowgraph shows the dimensional features of the part. Possible imperfections are indicated as density changes on the film in the same manner as a medical X-ray shows broken bones.

  Lifting Equipment Inspection Training Program (Level I & II)

 The API 570 Piping Inspector training course is structured in such way to give a detailed understanding of the required engineering knowledge for API 570 In-service Piping Inspection and provide required preparation in the form of lectures by experts and model examination for attaining the API 570 In-service Piping Inspection Certification.

API 653 (Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector) Training Program

Part Time: 30 Jul 2012 to 28 Aug 2012

 The API 570 Piping Inspector training course is structured in such way to give a detailed understanding of the required engineering knowledge for API 570 In-service Piping Inspection and provide required preparation in the form of lectures by experts and model examination for attaining the API 570 In-service Piping Inspection Certification.

 ASNT MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) Level II Training Program

Part Time: 15 Aug 2012 to 24 Aug 2012

The Magnetic Particle NDE method is accomplished by inducing a magnetic field in a ferromagnetic material and then dusting the

 surface with iron particles (either dry or suspended in liquid). Surface and near-surface imperfections distort the magnetic field and

 concentrate iron particles near imperfections, previewing a visual indication of the flaw.

Part Time: 8 Aug 2012 to 22 Aug 2012

ASNT VT (Visual Testing) Level II Training Program

Part Time: 15 Aug 2012 to 29 Aug 2012

 Visual inspection NDT method involves using an inspector's eyes to look for defects. The inspector may also use special tools such as magnifying glasses, mirrors, or bore-scopes to gain access to inspect the subject area more closely. Visual examiners follow procedures that range from simple to very complex level.
