Cutech is glad to have been part of the 18th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (WCNDT) that was held in Durban, South Africa this year
and support Non-Destructive Testing Society Singapore (NDTSS). The WCNDT was held from April 16th to April 20th, 2012 at the International Convention Centre in Durban and is regarded as one of the prime NDT events worldwide. This year’s conference was themed as "NDT in Service of Society, in Safety Assurance, Quality Control and Condition Monitoring". The WCNDT was seen as a brilliant opportunity by Cutech to meet a number of the South African local business personnel from various sectors, as well as network with the growing pool of NDT personnel in the entire African market.
Cutech has a long standing recognition for providing high quality & safe services both in advanced and conventional NDT techniques. With our headquarters located in Singapore, we provide a number of IT and engineering services all over the world with our team of highly skilled engineers and technicians. We deliver our NDT expertise to on-shore/off-shore projects, pipe & pressure vessel manufacturing, chemical & petrochemical plans, nuclear & conventional power plants, shipyards, fabrication and pipelines. Our extensive experience and knowledge in NDT had enabled us to consistently deliver comprehensive solutions for all our clients.
Being part of the five-day event was a great opportunity for Cutech to establish potential networks in the African region. A number of technical sessions were also conducted that covered almost all facets of NDT such as thermography, radiography, phased arrays, TOFD, guided waves, optical & electromagnetic methods, materials characterization, condition monitoring and many more. Application of these techniques in a broad range of areas starting from railroad, power generation, and aerospace industry to civil & concrete sectors was elaborated.
We would like to thank NDTSS for the opportunity to support
and promote NDT activities in Singapore. We would also like to congratulate and thank the organizers
& fellow participants of the WCNDT for making the event a success and building connections for the business community to learn and work together in the international arena!
